HR and payroll

Attendance, overtime, leave and payroll, computed the way the Ministry expects

The people side: who is on shift, who turned up, who is on leave, what they are owed at month end and at the end of their service. Built to UAE labour law.

Decree-Law 33/2021 rules for overtime, leave and gratuity · Face-recognition kiosk · One payslip per employee

Why a garage needs it

The biggest cost after parts, and the biggest legal exposure

Overtime at the wrong rate, a passport or visa that expired unnoticed, a gratuity figure argued over on the last day: these are the things that end up at the labour court.

HRMS keeps one record per employee, computes the legal figures from it, and puts every expiry on a board before it bites. Attendance, the roster, overtime, leave and the payroll run all read the same record, so nobody's pay is typed twice.

What is built

One record per employee, every figure derived from it

What ships today, nothing planned.

Employee master

Designation, department, contract, probation, notice period, salary and allowances, IBAN, emergency contact. A four-step add wizard and a tabbed record.

Face-recognition attendance

A paired tablet at the door clocks staff in and out. No password, no card, no buddy punching. Manual entry and timesheet export too.

Roster and shifts

Shift patterns and a weekly roster per garage. The roster is the plan, attendance is what happened, and a variance column shows no-shows.

Overtime

Derived from attendance against the rostered shift end: 125% ordinary, 150% for night and rest days, hourly rate as basic over 240, per Decree-Law 33/2021.

Leave

Request, approve, cancel. Annual leave of 30 days after a year, sick leave in the 15 full, 30 half, 45 unpaid bands, a holiday calendar that feeds roster and overtime.

Payroll

A monthly run over the chain: basic plus allowances, overtime, leave deductions, loan instalments, one payslip each, marked paid with a bank reference.

Advances and expense claims

Request, approve, disburse with an instalment schedule, repay per instalment. Claims with a receipt attached, approved and reimbursed.

Documents and expiry

Passport, visa, Emirates ID, labour card, licence, each with issuer, expiry and file. An expiry board for documents and contracts.

Contracts and gratuity

Contract dates and renewals; end-of-service gratuity at 21 days' basic per year for five years then 30, capped at two years' pay.

Performance and discipline

Mechanic KPIs and formal reviews; warnings and actions on the Article 39 ladder with wage-deduction and suspension caps computed for you.

Recruitment, training, onboarding

Vacancies with an applicant pipeline, training records, a joining checklist and a clearance checklist on the employee record.

Self-service on the phone

A technician sees their own roster, performance, employment details, payslips and leave on the mobile app, and files leave from it.

FAQ

Questions garages ask about staff and pay

Is overtime calculated to UAE labour law?

Yes. Overtime is derived from attendance against the rostered shift end at 125% for ordinary hours and 150% for 9 pm to 4 am and rest days, with the hourly rate as basic salary over 240, per Decree-Law 33 of 2021.

How does the attendance kiosk work?

Does payroll include advances and unpaid days?

A payroll run takes basic plus allowances, derived overtime, leave deductions and the instalments of any advance due that month. Each employee gets one payslip.

How is end-of-service gratuity worked out?

At 21 days' basic per year for the first five years and 30 after, capped at two years' pay, with unpaid leave excluded, from the contract dates on the record.

Will I be warned before a visa expires?

Every document has an expiry, and the expiry board lists what is due across documents and contracts before it bites.
