Technician mobile app
Built for the workshop floor and on Google Play. Scan a number plate to open a job, run the inspection with photos and voice, clock time on a job, request consumables, pass QC. A PIN instead of a password.
Android, on Google Play · Same job statuses as the web · Works with the attendance kiosk and the owner's dashboard
Why a garage needs it
A technician with a phone in his pocket does not walk to the office to find out what is next, and the office does not walk to the bay to find out what happened. The findings, the photos and the time are recorded where the work is.
The app enforces the same eleven job statuses as the web, so a mechanic can only do what a mechanic should: his own jobs, his own tasks, no prices he does not need, no customer finances, no other staff. Owners and advisors use the same app for approvals, appointments and the queue.
What is built
What ships today, nothing planned.
Point the camera at the number plate. The plate is read, the customer and vehicle are found, and the job is created or opened.
Per-garage checklist, OK or issue per item, a photo and a voice note bound to each finding.
Captured and annotated on the phone, stored in the cloud, on the job card and shareable as proof.
Start, pause and stop per job. Holds are excluded, and estimated duration sits next to actual.
Add a part by scanning its barcode or serial; request consumables from the store, approved and handed over against your name.
Tasks with an owner and a deadline; send to QC and pass or fail it with the rework loop.
Advisors send the quotation; the customer approves from a link; the app is notified the moment they do.
Approvals, parts arrivals, task assignments and completed QC, pushed to the phone.
Advisors raise the invoice and take a payment, split across methods, from the phone.
Look up a warranty by plate, serial or invoice, check eligibility and raise a claim with camera photos.
Your roster, your leave, your payslips, your performance and your employment details, with leave filed from the phone.
A PIN instead of a password. A mechanic sees his own jobs and never a price he does not need; the office roles see more.
How it connects
What the phone does and what the desk does are one state machine.
Workshop managementInventoryGoods in, parts on the job, vendor returns, all from the camera.
Inventory and purchasingHRThe kiosk clocks the day; the app clocks the work.
HR and payrollCustomersApproval, review and warranty links open in their own phone's browser.
CRM and customersFAQ
Android, from Google Play. The iPhone version is not released yet. Customers never need the app: their approval, warranty and review links open in any phone's browser.
Yes. The camera reads the plate with its emirate and category code, finds the vehicle if it has been before, and opens or creates the job.
No. A mechanic sees his own jobs and tasks, never a price he does not need, never customer finances and never other staff. Owners, admins, supervisors and advisors see what their role needs.
The app is online: it talks to the same server as the web so that every status is one truth. Photos are compressed on the server, not the phone, so a slow connection still gets the full picture.
A 20-minute demo, then a 14-day pilot on your own jobs.
